As a Christian, we naturally want to share our faith in God with others. Sharing your faith is just part of being a Christian. But sharing doesn’t always come easy for some folks. Some of us aren’t as social or outgoing as perhaps we’d like to be. So maybe that leaves you wondering how you can share your faith.
Well, I have one really good answer for you… something, in fact, that I’ve known for years but have forgotten about over time…something so simple that it’s really a shame that I’ve forgotten about it.
The answer? Personal checks. Yes, personal checks. I know… most folks today opt to use a debit card in place of a check, but there are still some folks who even occasionally write checks (like me). For those times that a check is used, why use a plain drab check when you can have one that shares the message of Christ!
And by the way, when I reorder our checks, I am so getting these!
Check these out:
This is just one example of faith-based personal checks. What’s also super cool is they have coordinated matching check book covers, address labels, cosmetic bags, key chains, notepads, wallets, compacts, eyeglasses cases, and more! How cool is that?

The idea here really isn’t about spending money or buying things, but rather using what you buy (that you would be buying anyway) as a way to share your Christian faith without doing anything different than you already do. If you already snail mail checks to pay your bills, you’d still be doing that, only with a check that talks about God (without you saying a word). If you already use a check to pay for groceries, you’d still be doing that the same, only handing the cashier a check that tells of the Lord, and you’d never have to say a word unless you wanted to.

If you only used a check for those two things, paying bills via the mail and grocery shopping at the store, think of how many people will handle and see that one check. Now think of how it would be with every check you write. If you write a lot of checks (and some folks do), that’s a lot of eyes! You never know what a difference it could mean in someone’s life!
Using faith-based personal checks is just one way to share your faith in God. If you’re an introvert (like me), something like this could massively make a difference in how you share Jesus with the world. Something as simple as using Christian faith checks when paying bills or shopping… yes, it’s true! You never know what a person is going through… when someone handles that check and sees the words on the check… it could very well be just what they needed. It could make such a difference in their lives.
Sharing our faith today isn’t always easy. Sure, there’s social media and some us use it a lot to share our faith. But not everyone uses social media. Plus there’s still a need out there in the real world, offline. Something so simple as a personal check with a message from God could be just what someone needs.
And again, the point here really is that this isn’t doing or getting something that you wouldn’t already have or use. It’s simply replacing a plain drab personal check with one that offers a message of hope and love, from God, and thereby sharing your faith in God with someone who needs it – all from handling or seeing your check.
I’m getting mine and sharing my faith – what about you? 🙂
